Highlights

Significant improvements have been made in optimizing various expression systems for higher protein production, few screening methods have been developed to rapidly identify the cells producing recombinant therapeutic protein from among a large number of transformed host cells. Analysis strategies have to be investigated to more rapidly screen the clones with acceptable therapeutic protein production yields. This project focuses on the development of novel, nanotube-based approaches to recognizing and screening such clones with high efficiency and high throughput.
