OCP Group

Supported by Moroccan phosphate company OCP, the flagship research project focuses on Digital Farming in Africa and empowering farmers with data. Researchers plan to analyze technologically advanced farms on the continent to better predict the value of intervention in under performing farms. A second project, Flexibility in Strategic Planning for Infrastructure Development, develops ways to increase enterprise value in the face of uncertainty. It uses real options to lower risks and increase opportunities. The research builds on the explicit recognition of risks in traditionally deterministic planning and the use of simulation to portray the range and intensity of outcomes. It is a multi-year collaboration.
